Instructor: Jaimie

Do you want to try Sashiko but don't know where to start? Join us for this beginners class as we explore the art of Sashiko (translating to “little stabs”), a traditional Japanese process of needlework that uses decorative running stitches to create distinctive geometric patterns.

During class, we’ll use a pre-printed panel of five different Japanese geometric designs to make a set of coasters (please note - sample is burgundy but actual class kit will be indigo). In addition to signing up for this class, please make sure you have purchased the class kit which includes this panel and all the materials necessary for this class (bring along a pair of scissors to cut thread). Instructor will share finishing instructions during class to complete your coasters on your own.

The zoom link will be sent one day prior to class.
