Description
Monday, January 5, 10:30am-3pm (includes a lunch break)
Instructors: Luci & Linnie
Settle in for a warm, creative day of sewing designed especially for January. This whole-day workshop invites you to slow down, stitch, and make 2-3 cozy, practical projects that feel just right for the season.
Participants will sew:
- A self-binding border receiving blanket - soft, satisfying, and beautifully finished
- A microwave bowl cozy - perfect for warming up winter soups
- Bonus project: A tissue holder for stylish, portable comfort - if time allows
To keep the cozy vibe going, sewing machines will be set up and ready - no hauling your machine out into the cold. Just show up with a few notions and fabrics that are cut to size as outlined in the supply list.
You'll work in pairs for camaraderie and support, but each participant will create their own complete set of projects.
If we don't quite get to the bonus project during class, we will provide you with the fabric and instructions for you to finish the tissue holder at home.
Expect a relaxed pace, warm conversation, and the simple pleasure of making useful, comforting things during the heart of winter.
