For this quilt we've framed each block with a fabric that matches the background of the block. Not only does this give the effect of each block floating, but it also allows you to correct any differences in size. Next a very narrow sashing separates the blocks, and each one has a tiny plus sign block where they meet. A similar treatment borders the whole thing.
You will need 5 yards for the backing of this quilt. We suggest Hypernature - Lasting Nature Bloom or Hypernature - Daydreaming Lucid
