Description
Pattern by Jessica Dayon uses her fabric line, The Bright Side, from Blank Quilting.
Finished Size:
Large Throw: 65 1/2” x 78 1/2”
Fabric Requirements:
Yardage is based on 42” wide fabric. A fat quarter is 18” x 21”.
1 fat quarter bundle of The Bright Side (which contains 38 fat quarters- 10 low volume/white print, 2 dark pink, 26 assorted rainbow colors)*
2 yards white polka dot print (The Bright Side 4519-01)
2/3 yard orange print (The Bright Side 4516-33) for binding
5 yards of fabric for backing** (The Bright Side 4518-08)
74” x 87” piece of batting
*You will have left over from the fat quarter bundle but this amount of prints is needed to get the scrappy-looking variation in the blocks. You need 2 dark pink fat quarters and 10 low volume/white print fat quarters. However, for the remaining, 26 fat quarters, you can substitute 26 fat eighths or 13 fat quarters if you want less variety.
**Backing includes a 4” overage for long arm quilting.
Basic knowledge of quilt piecing is expected to be able to use this pattern. This pattern is great for the advanced beginner and beyond.
