It is the SUMMER 2026 and it is MYSTERY QUILT TIME! Summer is here! The long snowy, icy, winter is over. The trees are in full bloom, flowers are everywhere, and the sun is shining. Plants and flowers are giving new life to the earth after a frigid winter. It is a happy time of year. Everything is growing beautifully.
The blocks in this quilt all finish to the same size (8” W x14" L). Therefore, you can make a table runner, a lap, twin, double and so on. The choice is yours. This quilt is made up of seven different blocks. We will be making 4 blocks, but the process is the same for all seven…the blocks are just arranged differently to make the distinction. So let’s start creating.
You will only have three decisions to make for this quilt (my choices are outlined in the Supply List/Prep Instructions PDF and may help you in making your decisions.)
- Choose how to do the base of your blocks. These can be very scrappy, all the same tones or all the same fabric. Choose an accent also.
- Green for all block tops…choose a variety of greens.
- Choose a background so the base and the greens stand out
