Join Jaimie Grazi Orland (@BashfulQuilter) and dive into the world of collage quilting with this beginner fabric fish class.
During this class we will use Laura Heine's popular 'Making Fish' pattern to go over foundational techniques of collage quilt art including transferring designs, fusing fabric to webbing, and using different fabrics and color choices and their placement to create depth, movement and a colorful design using simple strips of fabric.
This is a design class and our aim will be to design and put together one fish during class that you will then quilt/finish at home or in an optional class TBD. Your fish can either be finished as a small wall hanging or you can make additional fish on your own to create multiple placemats, table runner or larger wall hanging or quilt.
