This two part class will teach you how to make a gathered tiered skirt with an elastic waistband. We will be mostly using a serger! If you don’t have one, don’t worry, you can borrow one of ours! Come make better friends with your serger or try one out - this intermediate class is perfect for both. No pattern required! The skirt math is on the supply list. You must come to class with your fabrics cut and ready to sew.
Please note: if you bring a serger you must come with it threaded, and if it is a brand other than Bernina or Bernette, you must know how to thread it yourself.
This class also requires a regular sewing machine.
Machines may be left at the store overnight for this 2 day class, no need to haul home in-between!
