In this two-part workshop, you'll be guided through constructing the Zuri Crossbody Tote, a stylish and functional bag pattern by Knot + Thread Design. The Zuri features a quilted exterior that adds both structure and softness, a comfortable crossbody strap for hands-free convenience, two interior slip pockets to keep essentials accessible, and an interior zipper pocket for secure storage. It is especially stylish when using one of the Ruby Star nylon webbings we have in stock!
With its clean lines, thoughtful details, and approachable construction, the Zuri is a rewarding project for confident beginners and up. Choose between the Small Tote (6" H x 8 1/2" W x 4" D)—think purse, perfect for quick errands—or the Large Tote (9" H x 11 1/2" W x 4 1/2" D) for everyday use, more storage. Either size is enjoyable to make and even better to carry.
